She is a 68 year old senior citizen living in a retirement home. She is widowed and has 12 grandchildren. In her spare time, she likes to knit for the local homeless shelter.

Walker Rappaport
He is a 16 year old from a upper middle class neighborhood. His parents are divorced and he is struggling in school. He sings in his spare time and dreams of becoming a Broadway star.

Jennifer Chang
She is a forty year old stay-at-home mother who has three children. Her husband has his own business in construction. They sometimes find it hard to pay their bills on time.

Rajiv Singh
He is a, 11 month old infant who immigrated to New York from Malaysia with his parents. They came here seeking better health care for Rajiv who will eventually need a kidney transplant for a normal life.
